gkrellm-volume software package provides A mixer plugin for GKrellM, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gkrellm-volume
gkrellm-volume is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gkrellm-volume package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gkrellm-volume *
You will get with gkrellm-volume package name, version, architecture and description in a table
